In this hot season kindly Wear your safety gear and keep hydrated with a soft drink or a bottle of water. Remember safety is your responsibility.

Go light and loose clothes..Wear light-colored, loose-fitting clothing. The former will reflect the sun's rays better; the latter will enable you to take advantage of any breeze, including the one you make by running. The new sports-specific synthetics are better than cotton, too.

Summer is on and it poses risk regarding health issues..one thing I'd like to share is let's be careful with the food that we eat to avoid getting our food poisoned...let's not leave food in the rooms where temp is high it's better if we put it inside refrigerator and reheat it before eating...keep safe everyone

Wear the right pair of shoes for your outdoor activities. If you’re doing a lot of walking and other outdoor activity, do not wear those flashy, fancy shoes which may look but are otherwise uncomfortable. Avoid blisters and sprains by choosing a good pair of walking shoes. Don’t forget to wear them with a comfortable cotton socks. All this for your Happy feet.

Apart from water, make sure that you consume other “good liquids” as well. Juices are strongly recommended. You can also consume fruits directly. Stay away from aerated drinks. Lassi/shakes can be consumed in moderation.

During summertime, the risk of food-borne illnesses increases significantly. This is primarily due to the rising heat, which offers a greater opportunity for microorganisms in food to multiply.

To avoid catching a bad dose of food poisoning, make sure you don’t eat anything that’s been left out for too long, always wash your hands before you handle food and before you eat, and where possible cook your meal fresh.

Good summer foods include salads, fresh fruits and fresh vegetables. If you’re cooking meat, ensure that any dishes or utensils you use for preparing the raw meat is kept away from those you eat with.

And finally, as a last summer health tip, try to be kind to you. Too often we get caught up in what’s wrong – with ourselves, with our appearance and even with our circumstances. But this summer, make an effort to focus on what’s right. Appreciate the things about yourself that are amazing and unique. And value those around you.Happy Summer!

Above all protect your self from overexposure to direct sunlight by wearing a hat or taking time in the shade and also wearing your Sun glasses when you take a walk outside. Remember Glaring light is the most destructive light with our naked eyes, again keep in mind protection is better than cure.

Avoid going out during the peak of temperature. And don't exercise too much as we get easily tired because of the heat.
