All women must be aware that it is illegal to be pregnant in Qatar if you are not married. Once the authorities discover your condition you will end up in jail and will be deported after your term, and sometimes physical punishment (lashings) in some extreme circumstances.

If you think getting married after conception will resolve the situation, no. If you are pregnant and not married, the only option for you is to leave the country before the authorities find out your condition. Marriage certificate is required to have access to maternity care.

Yes ur right @Bonjiek Dakoykoy Being pregnant out of marriage is not acceptable here in Qatar so better leave Qatar and go back to your country if your pregnant or else you will be jailed if authorities will know that pregnancy out of wedlock.

And don't be desperate to find an alternative solution to your situation because that will bring you to much trouble. The only solution is to keep your condition away from the authorities and go back to your home country the soonest possible time.

Heres a quoted info from http://qatar.angloinfo.com/healthcare/pregnancy-birth/

    Unmarried Women

It is very important to be aware that it is illegal for an unmarried woman to be pregnant in Qatar. The consequences of the authorities discovering that a single woman is pregnant include jail and deportation, and even physical punishment (lashings) in some extreme circumstances.

For that reason, women who are not married and find themselves pregnant while living in Qatar should plan to head for home, or to another country. As a marriage certificate is required to have access to maternity care, even getting married after conception will not resolve the situation. Unmarried women who do leave Qatar due to becoming pregnant may also face problems if they return to Qatar after giving birth.

It is very clear that unmarried women who are pregnant in Qatar is illegal and maybe the same thing will apply if a married woman becomes pregnant by another man in the absence of her husband in Qatar, right? I know someone in that situation also and all i know that woman prefer to stay and hide about her condition so that means throughout that period before her tummy becomes obvious of that condition she didnt have any prenatal care and just suddenly resigned in the company.

By law no women should take step in breaking rules in this muslim world. Even for married women abortion is illegal. Keep safe.
