Are there any dress code during the holy month of Ramadan? I heard wearing short pants and sleeveless shirts for men are not allowed during this season. Is that true?

We are expected to dress modestly as always not only in Ramadan.so as not to offend the local community..we should still be sensitive to Qatari ideas of decency.

I agree. I used to wear short pants and sandals during normal days when roaming around the city and malls but for this time somebody told me it's not allowed. Thanks Rolita.

If its Ramadan or any other month in Qatar, all gents and ladies should dress decently in public places. western dress but not vulgar or too short. should respect the culture.
