Delegations arrive in Doha for AIBA World Boxing C’ship

    DOHA, September 29, 2015 – Sport delegations from across the globe started arriving in Doha one-week prior the kickoff of the prestigious AIBA 2015 World Boxing Championship which is scheduled to be held from 5-15 October in Doha.

    It is worth mentioning that the AIBA official delegation has arrived in Doha on Monday to attend the prestigious event as German boxing delegation is expected to arrive in Qatar on September 30.

    Around 260 boxers representing 70 nations and from different weight categories are due to compete in the AIBA World Boxing Championships in Doha.
    The prestigious AIBA 2015 World Boxing Championships is an event which is acting as qualifying tournament for 2016 Summer Olympic Games to be held in Brazil.
    It is worth mentioning that the Organizing Committee has completed all technical and managerial arrangements to host the championship from 5-15 October in Doha, Qatar.Qatar Olympic Committee
