Recently there was a news regarding a young teenager who took a selfie with his dead grandfather and posted it on social media with a caption "Good Bye, Grandfather". It triggered a wave of condemnation and criticism by angry users who called for a prompt probe into the "immoral issue."

Users said the hospital officials should find out how the hospital failed to respect the dead man's dignity and how a child could take a selfie with him.

Authorities are now investigating if the selfie was taken in hospital area.

A lawyer said, this act is a crime and punishable by law.

Selfie nowadays I can say has become a tool to abuse by posting immoral pictures just to get public attention. Since selfie has begun many got addicted to it and even the habit become a selfie syndrome.

This is what the social media contribute to our society.

Awareness about the good and bad when taking selfie is necessary for the young generation who are very aggressive sometimes with their actions.

He probably wanted a last picture of his Grandpa. But what I find a little disrespectful is that he shared it online. These things or moments are very precious rather personal and are not really be meant to be shared with everyone online.

There's nothing wrong with the intention of taking a picture with someone on his last day on earth but the picture shown and posted on social media described as insulting for me where the young teenager stuck his tongue out on the picture. Maybe if he looked grieving on a picture he got sympathy from public.
