Is Qatar going to be the next Dubai?

Do you think Qatar will be more like Dubai before 2022? With so many expats here from different continents, the culture of Qatar is somehow influenced by westerners. Do you think so?

 

Probably Qatar will be like Dubai in terms of infrastructures, tourist spot, overwhelming traffic jams, cost of living but never in culture because Qatar I think will never like to adapt the same culture as Dubai has which is really a total open country. Qatar still adheres to a modest conservative way and I hope Qatar will never ever change it.

 

I agree with you @Darling and I hope that Qatar will be able to maintain its culture and find ways how to balance modernization with westernization and that they will continue to consider things for the betterment of the country and the people as well.
