How to stop game requests on Facebook?

Thanks for this Admin. Sometimes it's frustrating that you have only one notification and only to find out that it's a game invitation or request. Now I'm confident that whenever there's new notification on my Facebook it's not a game request for sure!

thanks for this usefull information. many of friends ask me this to get rid of game request but i dont have any answer. now i can easily tell them how they can stop game request.
