Doha Airport Introduces Long-Term Parking Fees

Drivers parking cars at Hamad International Airport in Doha will be charged QR45 ($12.30) per day under a new tariff system.

Gulf Times reported that the airport began levying the charges on May 2 but it has not been widely promoted.

If drivers lose their car parking ticket, they will have to pay QR35 ($9.60) in addition to the actual tariff

 

That is better rather than being charged in an hourly basis.

 

Until before, most of people used the facility for free but now things changed, our new airport is 1 Year old now, thanks to HIA, for giving free car park service for one year. But its very beneficial for those on business short trips to leave there car in this parking to avoid high taxi fares.
