    I learned that alcohol is only served in 5 stars hotels in Qatar, is that correct?

    Edwin that's correct alcohol is mainly served in 5 stars hotels and as an expat you can purchase alcohol in a place called QDC (Qatar Distribution Company)

    Yes that's true because alcohol drinking is against to islamic religious culture...So expats should understand and adjust with their life styles here in Qatar in order not to face any trouble

    As a reminders guys Drunken driving, public intoxication and other alcohol-related offenses are taken seriously and can result in imprisonment, fines, or even deportation.best we can do is Drink Moderately..

    Alcohol was never and should never be allowed in Qatar in open. I don't know why is it allowed or served in *Star hotels ?
