4 Women fined for attacking another woman at a wedding ceremony

Four women have been fined QR5,000 each by a Doha misdemeanour court for attacking another woman at a wedding ceremony, local Arabic daily Arrayah has reported.

Trouble started when one of the guests in the wedding hall expressed dissatisfaction at the presence of another invited woman and asked her to leave the place. A relative of the latter was angered by this and she started arguing with the guest.

The situation worsened and a fight ensued among some of the women, with cutlery being used by those involved. In the melee, the guest who had asked a woman to leave was attacked by four other women.
Other guests and relatives attending the party then intervened and brought the situation under control. The injured woman filed a police complaint against the four women who had attacked her. GULF TIMES
