International schools in Qatar

My friend has a 4 years old daughter and she wants to put her in an international school. Which school do you guys advise? She's suffering as most of them they are keeping the name of little girl as wait list and nothing is confirmed yet. Can someone help me pls

 

Unfortunately Clara that's the system in Qatar. In all the schools they have waiting list name, your friend has to wait and hopeful she will be successful and register her daughter in one of the international school. Let her not to worry as we all faced the same situation when we moved to Qatar and started looking for schools in order to register our kids.

please ask your friend to try in Doha Academy. She might get a place for her daughter in that school.

We all expats don't have any job security, we don't know when we will be asked to leave and resettle somewhere else, likewise out kids are not permanent going to one school, they too need to be admitted anytime of the year depending on transfer of job for their parents. All schools should keep empty spaces for kids who require admission anytime. Registering for new session is for those who live here and know they will be there until school new session starts but majority don't. think about it.
