The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released new guidelines regarding the size of carry-on luggage. The new dimensions are smaller than what many carriers recently allow.

Qatar Airways, Etihad, Emirates, Gulf Air, Cathay Pacific, Kuwait Airways are among airline members of IATA.

What's your thoughts once these airlines adopted the new guidelines?

Passengers new challenge and new adjustment. To mothers like me I am waiving that there could be a consideration for families travelling with little kids and and an agreement will start from the time tickets purchased the clients should notify the travel agents about the condition.

The IATA guideline at one time stated: Cabin baggage should have a maximum length of 56 cm (22 inches), width of 45 cm (18 inches) and depth of 25 cm (10 inches) including all handles, side pockets, wheels etc.
