Sometimes we ran out of budget and ran out of dental floss, have you tried using sewing thread to floss instead of dental floss? Is it okay or not?

For me I dont think if its safe to use as alternative for dental floss. Its rough and theres a chance it would cut our gums. Dental floss is designed to be thin, smooth and waxy and it feels with more comfort as it slides between your tooth.

I used sewing thread when I ran out of dental floss but with double extra care because it will cut your gums.

I think leads to dental cavities and gum irritation. If left continue this habit it can lead to gum disease..It is important to include flossing as part of a good dental hygiene .Use dental floss the teeth on a daily basis and using mouthwash too..

Do not take risk, dental floss is easily available within our reach, use it for maintaining good smile.
