Filipinos to celebrate Independence Day

To all Filipinos please be guided accordingly to the great Philippine Independence Day celebration this Friday.Please find attached below schedule of activities.

 

Have you guys attended this before? I did and I hope you will because it's fun!

 

Nope maybe this could be the first time ever in my stay here. Are the foods for free?

 

I have attended twice but last year. There are foods but not free. Filipino foods and delicacies. There are giveaways, contests and raffles. Exhibits and competition, singing competition, dancing etc. Cultural activities will be featured also. Bands! Exciting!

There's registration fee. Before it was only 10QR.

 

Ooredoo has several prize giveaways, including free data cards as well as Ooredoo merchandise and much more. Look for the Ooredoo signs at the Sheraton Hotel from 9am to 9pm!

 

its sounds great..im not yet attending this kind of events but i want to if ever i have chance...and for me by engaging in these activities, all Filipinos gradually to take the true essence of being a Filipino, knowing We were far away from home, Filipino values such as patriotism and nationalism is still in our minds..And i am proud to be a FILIPINO!!

 

Wow looking forward to attend this event. Being far from our home country this is the time to mingle with fellow filipinos in Doha and one way to show our support to remarkable national celebrations such as this
