In applying jobs overseas, does the school where you come from still matter to the employers?

Some who are not aware of the excellent reputation of the schools from where you are may not count on it but some who are aware of it may count on it but for me it doesn't matter where and which school you came from and it doesn't affect if you are already in the job working with these competent people as you believed.

There are some companies overseas who are very particular with your school background. But I think it's not what we learned from college that will make the employers hire you, it's how you response to the interview, how you sell yourself to get the job, how knowledgeable you are about the position you are applying for.
