Most of us look for a job after we graduated from college either because we want to start earning our own source of income or we are tired of reading books and taking exams. Some pursue for a master's degree to be more proficient on something.

Do you think a master's degree is necessary for a successful career?

For me depends on the field that you go into. I know many people who have been successful within the accounting field without a master's degree.but The fact that having a master degree can help, and usually the salaries are higher but at the end of the day, you should make the choice you think suits you the best based on your desired career path..

It will help you get a job and promotion quickly but maybe the success of your career even if you have a master's degree depends on the company you're working with and yes on the field you're into.

They said education is a non-stop experience and even not all fields require it but in this modern working environment we have to accept that those they put in a higher position are those that have post graduate degree and they get more opportunities of being promoted so I agree that one way to lift us up with our career is our education so masters degree and doctoral degree is needed to boost our career opportunity

I had noticed it before when my father was still working in a company for quite so long and because he was already a senior he was once looking forward for promotion but he was just frustrated that younger ones can beat him and he came to realize that it was because of his educational attainment that nailed him towards his ambition. Competent people get higher opportunities so easily in a competitive working environment so let's not stop towards EDUCATION. If we are still young and has time for post graduate education let's grab it on to that opportunity.
