How to register your sim card under your name?

If your sim card is not registered under your name, because maybe the time you purchased it you didn't have your Qatar ID yet, you and the person who the sim card is registered to should visit Ooredoo's/Vodafone's office/booth. You will be asked to present your Qatar ID and fill in the transfer form and sign then pay QR 50.

That's it. You owned your sim card officially! I had done this last night.

Yes, that's very necessary as both of you have to present your Qatar IDs and sign the form.

 

If the earlier registered owner already left the country for good, then we can visit the immigration department and request for the document regarding the exit visa of that person .After that , please visit any Ooredoo shop with that document . They will change the ownership .

 

Have you tried this sir? I mean the immigration can provide you those documents regarding someone else? That's a good suggestion then if the sim is so important to you.
